The clan 47th Royal Marines was founded by individuals from the editorial staff of XplayN.com, shortly after the Battlefield 1942 demo came out.
Some of the people were Creek, gonzo, rom, AtomAlf, Deadlock, and a bunch of other recruits.
We played the first official scandinavian clanwar in the BF1942 demo, against clan FragFest.
A war we won. Partially because their two pilots were able to fly into eachother and crash, at the start landing
from the japanese aircraftcarrier on Wake Island.
Alas, this team did not last long, and a new team started up with Arveter, from the original team at the helm.
With a few of the original team, combined with a big portion of the newly closed clan Disciples of Revival, a new squad saw the light of day.
And with the release of Battlefield 2, 47th again is ready for battle, and now with many new faces, eager to show their skills on the battlefield.
